This year's East End Arts Council annual fundraiser is themed An Evening in Red and will take place on the EEAC grounds on September 6th from 7 - 11 pm. With what's planned, it will certainly live up to its name and be one of the hottest nights of entertainment to round out summer on the East End: Dinner and dancing will take place under a festive tent with the Kumalo Band playing their unique musical style, which reflects influences from South African traditional folk, to contemporary jazz, to salsa. Their show is electric, and will bring even the most reluctant dancer to the floor. Maple Tree will add to the spice with their delicious summer fare, and Henry Broggi of South Bay Auctions will call out bids on unique items, including one-of-a-kind cultural experiences.
