"The Long Island Railroad Photography of Gene Collora". Now open to the public and will run through Columbus day October 13 2008. Viewing on Saturdays, and Sundays and Monday Holidays Between the hours.
Our Featured Artist, Mr.Gene Collora, has been photographing railroad life and railroad equipment since the early 1950's. At the age of telve Years old, gene took a keen photographic interest in the Long Island Railroad, its steem and and diesel locomotives,passenger service and freight and marine operations. working in black and white , developing and printing his own photograghs, Gene honed his craft to a degree that in years to come he would be sought after by railroad officials to take promotional photographs of the Long Island Railroad.
