EAST MEADOW, NY –(December 2, 2015)- The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) will be hosting their Division III Men’s Winter Swimming & Diving Championships starting December 4, 2015-December 6, 2015 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center.

This year, Long Island is expecting about 400 athletes to participate in this Championship. This group will bring in total of 200 spectators. The Economic Impact for this area will be approximately $98,000.

This group has been coming to the Nassau County Aquatic Center for the past 5 years, and we are excited to have them back again this year. We look forward to another successful championship this weekend,” said Jenn Rothman, sports sales manager at the Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau & Sports Commission (LICVB&SC), which worked with the group.

The ECAC is a 300 member school conference that consists of Division I, II, III sports from Maine to North Carolina. The ECAC is one of the largest conferences in the Nation. The ECAC is also a division of the NCAA.
